Are you looking for an alternative to traditional swimming pools? Considering a natural swim pond for your next design project? Join ELA and Karina Lapierre, BFA and Owner of Lavish Gardens, to ask your questions and get professional advice on constructing recreational ponds.
During this 45-minute live Zoom Q&A, Karina will provide a quick overview of natural ponds and then will jump right into your questions for the bulk of the session.
Some topics that Karina can address are:
- What are the advantages of a natural swim pond over a traditional swimming pool?
- Can a natural swim pond work in any climate?
- What filtration and oxygenation systems are best to maintain water quality?
- What native plants can be used as part of the design?

Karina Lapierre, BFA is Owner/Designer of Lavish Gardens in Stirling, Ontario.
