Business Description | Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest was founded in 1929 by Isaac Wolfe Bernheim, a German immigrant and is the largest privately held forest in the eastern United States. Bernheim's 25.5 miles of preserved land, 91 miles of streams and 73 bodies of water provide protective habitat for over 1,200 diverse species that walk, fly, swim and slither throughout. Bernheim also features a collection of art in nature going back 40 years, an Edible Garden, and many other features. Today, more than 500,000 visitors from the U.S. and abroad visit Bernheim each year. |
