| Personal Bio | My journey into horticulture began as a teenager, working hands-on in my uncle's greenhouse. I've since built a diverse career, contributing my skills to nurseries, florists, landscaping companies, and a botanical garden. At the Berkshire Botanical Garden, I worked as a Senior Gardener and Propagator, working closely with a wide range of plant species and honing my propagation techniques. While there I had teaching opportunities focusing on native plants and seed collecting. My role as Propagator and Seed Bank Manager at Project Native in Housatonic, MA allowed me to specialize further, focusing on the cultivation and preservation of native plants. I lead workshops as well as worked with numerous volunteers ranging from teens to seniors. Today, I'm proud to be the Landscape and Garden Maintenance Manager at Nature Works Organic Landcare in Lee, MA. In this capacity, I oversee the creation and upkeep of landscapes that balance beauty with sustainability. Starting out from my greenhouse roots and growing into a leadership role in landscaping, my journey highlights my lifelong commitment to caring for organic, native plants, and enhancing outdoor spaces in harmony with natural ecosystems. |
