Peter attended the Cary Institute of Ecological system studies in Millbrook, NY with studies in their Landscape Design department. He has a certificate from the Rhode Island University in Permaculture Design. Permaculture is a system of agricultural and social design principles centered around simulating or directly utilizing the patters and features observed in a natural ecosystem. With a passion for the work of plants, an eye for composition and an analytical nature that brings unparalleled beauty and sophistication to his work, Peter Atkins blends an art history sensibility with sustainable materials and utilizes ecological and organic methods. We are also use and distribute a complete line of the highest-quality bulk materials (composts, soils, and mulches) as well as organic fertilizers and plant care products.
