Company Wildcraft Landscapes, LLC
Personal Bio I (Nate) have a degree in Environmental science and a minor in mathematics from Elon University. After graduating, I was inspired to make a difference in the way we relate to the natural world - to find a way to address climate change, loss of biodiversity and support the experiences of wonder that sustain change. I realized that re-imagining the landscapes we interact with on a daily basis - from our yards to greenspaces was critical to doing so and I spent the next 5 years working in various landscaping and construction trades to learn the skills to be an effective designer and craftsperson to bring native plant communities and food systems back into the landscapes around us.
Business Description Wildcraft Landscapes, LLC is a multifaceted business operating in Berks county, PA, occasionally branching out into other parts of Eastern PA. The primary work I do is to craft beautiful residential landscapes grounded in ecological garden design. This means a design centered around the site conditions and uses of a space, filled with the regional native plant species best suited to create an abundant and enchanting landscape that supports a diverse, resilient and functioning ecosystem. I have worked with schools and art centers to both write and implement grants and bring this work into more public spaces.
