| Personal Bio | Retired high school science teacher, Master Gardener, and native plant enthusiast. We live in Lilburn, GA on the outskirts of Atlanta on the Yellow River on 2.5 acres in an old-growth oak-hickory forest in the back yard, subdivision lawn in the front yard. We are slowly reducing the lawn, but as we live 3 miles from Stone Mountain, geologically we are really on stone mt. Dig 12-18 inches and you hit rock. Putting in trees and shrubs has presented challenges both for planting and for drainage. |
