Eco-Answers with an ELA Eco-Pro – Tree Health and Longevity

Wed, August 3, 2022 @ 6:30 pm EDT - 7:30 pm EDT

Special ELA Members Only Event – If you aren’t yet a member, you can join here.

Are you concerned about keeping your trees or a client’s trees healthy and happy for the long-term? Are you involved with construction projects and trying to protect existing trees? Trees are an important element in every landscape, but we aren’t always sure of the best ways to keep them safe and healthy. Join Scott McPhee and Steven Vernon of Harrison McPhee Inc. to ask your questions and get professional advice on tree care for longevity.

During this 45-minute live Zoom Q&A, Scott and Steve will provide a quick overview of arbor care and then will jump right into your questions for the bulk of the session.

Some topics that Scott and Steve can address are:

  • What are the top 5 ways to promote tree health and longevity?
  • How can contractors mitigate construction damage to existing trees?
  • What are the tree protection guidelines everyone should know?
  • How can professionals use compost tea for tree and shrub health?
  • What are some strategies for educating clients about the importance of long-term tree health?
  • And more…

Email questions in advance to help guide our Eco-Pros’ remarks. Also, you are welcome to submit photos of plants or sites to provide some context for your questions and to add interest to the discussion. Send questions and photos to office@ecolandscaping.org.

If you don’t submit your questions in advance, no problem, we will also be taking questions throughout the event. When you register for Eco-Answers with the ELA Eco-Pros, you will receive your Zoom Webinar link in a separate email.
