Eco-Answers with an ELA Eco-Pro

Wed, June 30, 2021 @ 6:30 pm EDT - 8:00 pm EDT

Special ELA Member-Only Event
Eco-Answers: Water in the Landscape

Do you have a question dealing with rainwater in your yard and gardens?
Is managing rain in your landscape a challenge that you are facing this spring?

Join Green Infrastructure specialist, Trevor Smith to ask your questions and get professional advice to help solve your problems. During this 90-minute Zoom live forum, Trevor will provide answers to some common and some not so common questions about dealing with water on your property.

Trevor will start the evening with brief opening remarks and then jump right into your questions for the bulk of the Q&A session. Some topics that Trevor can address are:

  • Drainage problems
  • Bioretention (rain gardens, bioretention cells, bioswales and stormwater planters)
  • Rainwater harvesting (rain barrels and cisterns)
  • Permeable pavements (porous concrete, pervious asphalt, and permeable pavers)
  • Green roofs and blue roofs
  • Dry wells and stormwater wetlands

Please send your rainwater questions in advance so that Trevor will know where to focus his attention. Also send photos of the area in question to provide some reference and to add interest to the discussion. Please email photos along with your questions to: penny@ecolandscaping.org. We will also be taking questions throughout the event.

Once you are registered for Eco-Answers with the ELA Eco-Pros, you will receive an email with the Zoom Webinar link.
