Class: RIGHT PLANT, RIGHT PLACE: INTRODUCTION TO CHOOSING NATIVE PLANTS

Nasami Farm, 128 North Street

Join plant specialist, Alexis Doshas, for an information-packed discussion of native plant selection, site assessment, and methods for choosing the right plant for the right place.

Native plants offer a higher rate of success, as these plants are well-suited for the Northeastern climate, soil conditions, and environment. They require less maintenance and fertilizer, and permit more time to enjoy the garden. Native plants also support a healthy ecosystem, including pollinators and birds.
