Richard Primack
Richard Primack is a professor of plant ecology at Boston University and the author of two leading textbooks in the field of conservation biology. For the past five years, he and his students and colleagues have been investigating the impacts of global warming on the plants and birds of Massachusetts. In Concord, they have shown that plants are now flowering one week earlier than they were when Henry David Thoreau observed them 150 years ago.
