Speaker Bio

Jono Neiger

Jono uses his diverse background in ecology, environmental research, conservation, restoration, land stewardship, permaculture, and landscape design to help organizations and individuals further their goals for stewarding their land, becoming more self sufficient, and integrating and healing communities and ecosystems. A Permaculture teacher and designer since 1996, Jono teaches in New England in a variety of settings. Jono was the Land Steward and Permaculture Apprenticeship Program Director at Lost Valley Educational Center in Oregon for 5 yrs. He is a Conservation Biologist with 15 years experience in land stewardship, ecological studies, restoration, and government. Currently, Jono owns Regenerative Design, a permaculture design and consultation firm in Leverett, Massachusetts. He can be contacted at jononeiger@earthlink.net

A conservation biologist and ecologist since 1990 and permaculture teacher and designer since 1996, Jono was the Land Steward and Permaculture Apprenticeship Program Director at the Lost Valley Educational Center, Oregon for 5 yrs. He is faculty at the Conway School of Landscape Design in Conway, MA and operates Regenerative Design, a permaculture design and planning firm in Leverett, Massachusetts
