Never before has ecological, sustainable, and organic landscaping been so widely promoted and sought after! Never has the Ecological Landscaping Association (ELA) tried harder to involve more people in its conference!

ELA�s Board of Directors hopes to encourage everyone who is involved in the Green Industry or a related field to attend the 2009 Conference & Eco-Marketplace. To help make this possible, the board has developed a scholarship program that assists applicants for whom the registration fee poses a hardship. ELA will offer a limited number of $50 credits toward all or part of the conference session registration fee.

This year�s Conference offers over eighteen sessions on topics such as minimizing water use and maximizing water percolation, developing healthy soils, supporting urban and suburban forests, and designing and building gardens with diversity and native populations in mind. Sessions offer practical skills and theoretical models of ecological, sustainable, and organic landscaping with the goal of helping attendees make great landscaping decisions.

Review the application criteria on the SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION form and submit the completed application along with your conference REGISTRATION no later than February 10, 2009 to: ELA Scholarship, 1257 Worcester Road #262, Framingham, MA 01701. Make and keep a copy of both forms to bring with you to the conference.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee of ELA members, and applicants will be notified of acceptance or denial no later than February 16, 2009.

Successful applicants will be provided with a Scholarship Code which they must record on their copies of the Scholarship Application and Registration. These copies and payment for the balance of the registration fee must be submitted at the door.
